Network of Expertise

TITAN Storyline

TITAN is a 4-year Horizon Europe R&I project with the ambitious goal of enhancing transparency in food supply chains by leveraging innovative, primarily digital, technologies. These advancements will help boost the health, sustainability, and safety of products, processes, and diets within the agri-food sector.

Through TITAN, 15 groundbreaking solutions will be developed, specifically designed to increase transparency and support agri-food businesses, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These innovations will be supported by cross-cutting Work Packages that address stakeholder interests, digital technology implementation, policy recommendations, business support, as well as project management, communication, and dissemination activities.

The TITAN Network of Expertise

At the heart of TITAN’s mission is the creation of a European Hub for Transparency, which will serve as a center of expertise and the primary point of contact for systemic solutions related to transparency. This Hub will act as a one-stop shop to help companies enhance their competitiveness and sustainability.

A key component of the Hub will be the Network of Expertise (NOE), previously named as the TITAN Stakeholder Board. This network will consist of experts representing TITAN’s core focus areas: Transparency, Sustainability, New (Digital) Technologies, and the Food System Approach, along with related subtopics. The NOE will be instrumental in guiding the project’s direction and ensuring that it meets the needs of stakeholders and the broader agri-food ecosystem.
