TITAN at the 36th EFFoST International Conference

TITAN participated in the 36th EFFoST International Conference, where they joined a special session titled “Creating transparency from farm to fork to strengthen trust and create a healthier food system.” During this session, the scientific coordinator, Dr. Edward Sliwinski from EFFoST, and TITAN project partners presented “Transparency solutions for transforming the food system.”

The TITAN project aims to enhance transparency in agri-food businesses, improve food choices for consumers, enhance food safety and authenticity, and provide better information on the health and sustainability of food products. To achieve these goals, TITAN will develop 15 innovative solutions that focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve transparency in agri-food businesses. To support these innovations, TITAN will have dedicated cross-cutting work packages dedicated to stakeholder interests, digital technology implementation, policy recommendations, business support, management, communication, and dissemination. These work packages will enable TITAN to provide SMEs with the necessary tools to enhance their transparency and improve the overall food system.
