The TITAN partner, FoodscaIe Hub hosted the first training session on financial management as part of the Business Support programme on 6th of July 2023. In this training session, the basics of financial management and its importance were introduced. The main financial goals of enterprises were presented, alongside the differences between financing and investing. Three fundamental financial statements were covered, highlighting the main components of each one and the information they give to the management of the company on one hand and to the external stakeholders on the other hand. Six potential sources of funding for SMEs and entrepreneurs were presented, highlighting their main advantages and disadvantages and the activities that are usually financed by these sources of funding
