TITAN is seeking independent evaluators to assess the quality of applications received in response to the TITAN Open Call shortly after its closure.
Evaluator Requirements:
- Applicants must be European, which includes EU nationals from member states of the European Union, including their outermost regions, as well as nationals of Horizon Europe associated countries (a full list is available here).
- Specialists in scientific (technical, social sciences, etc.) or business expertise, such as university or industry researchers, engineers, or staff from relevant organizations like clusters and accelerators, who are passionate about innovation topics related to transparency in the food value chain.
- Experienced in evaluating EC proposals, other grant applications, or similar processes.

TITAN has initiated an Open Call with a budget of €1.25 million to solicit innovative solutions for selecting and funding eight of the most innovative and ambitious pilots that will enhance the value of food supply chains through improved transparency.
Eligible projects must fall under one of three TITAN pilot groups: Food Safety, Sustainability, and Health. The TITAN Open Call encompasses all three domains, with a commitment to selecting a minimum of two winners per category for funding.
The total budget for successful projects is €1,250,640. Each accepted project will have an 18-month duration, divided into three cycles corresponding with the TITAN Business Support Programme cycles.
