TITAN unveils a video showcasing its 4-year mission to enhance transparency, food safety, and sustainability. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as DNA-based Rapid Detection Methods, Blockchain, AI, and IoT, the project will develop 15 innovative solutions that will drive transparency in agri-food businesses, particularly benefiting SMEs. Moreover, consumers will have access to more transparent information, empowering them to make informed food choices. With a strong emphasis on food safety and product authenticity, TITAN aims to enhance trust in the food industry. Additionally, the project will provide comprehensive information on the health and sustainability aspects of food products.
The TITAN consortium is a diverse and international collaboration comprising of eight universities, three research institutes, thirteen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and three non-profit organizations. With a total of 27 partners, the project brings together expertise from across 14 countries in Europe. These countries include Belgium, Finland, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. This wide-reaching partnership ensures a comprehensive and global approach to addressing the challenges of creating a transparent and sustainable food system.
